Maruti Suzuki has recently updated its highly-popular Brezza sub-4 metre lineup with subtle design and feature upgrades along with a new turbo-petrol powertrain. The new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine is available across all four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Prices of the new 2026 Maruti Brezza start from Rs 7.40 lakh for the entry-level LXi turbo-petrol variant and go up to Rs 13.55 lakh for the top-end 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol automatic variant.

Budget-conscious buyers are likely to consider the entry-level LXi variant, while those looking for more comfort and modern features might prefer the range-topping ZXi+ trim. If this is the case, it’s important to understand what each has to offer.

The entry-level LXi trim is available with three engine options, 1.0L turbo-petrol MT, 1.5L NA petrol manual and 1.5L + CNG MT, priced at Rs 7.40 lakh, Rs 8.30 lakh and Rs 9.30 lakh, respectively.
In comparison, the top-end ZXi+ trim is priced at Rs 11.16 lakh for the turbo-petrol MT variant and Rs 13.55 lakh for the 1.5L petrol AT variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The dual-tone colour scheme will cost an addition Rs 15,000. The price difference between the LXi and ZXi+ is nearly Rs 5.25 lakh.
2026 Maruti Brezza LXi Vs ZXi+ – Exterior
The LXi variant features a newly-designed grille in black finish along with halogen headlamps and dummy inserts for fog lamps at the front. Other design highlights include the 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, grey door cladding insert, body-coloured ORVMs with mounted LED indicators, a shark fin antenna, rear bumper with cladding, LED taillamps and a ‘Smart-Hybrid’ badge at the rear. The turbo-petrol variant sports a ‘Turbo’ badge on the tailgate along with a rear defogger.
Visually, the ZXi+ trim appears slightly more premium with chrome-finished grille, dual LED projector headlamps with DRLS, LED fog lamps, a silver skid plate, silver roof rails, gloss-black ORVMs, blacked-out A-pillar, silver door cladding and 16-inch machined alloy wheels.
Both trims are available in Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Pearl Arctic White and Sizzling Red colour options. However, Vivacious Orange, Bluish Black and Lustrous Beige are offered exclusively in the higher ZXi trim.
2026 Maruti Brezza LXi Vs ZXi+ – Features
The new Maruti Brezza LXi variant offers a dual-tone black and brown theme with fabric upholstery. It comes equipped with essential features such as a tilt-adjustable steering wheel (turbo only), all-four power windows, height adjustable driver seat, rear AC vents, rear adjustable headrests (turbo only), automatic climate control (turbo only) and an analogue instrument cluster. However, it misses out on several convenience fitments such as a touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, speakers, etc.
The safety kit of the LXi trim includes six airbags, Isofix child seat mounts, electronic stability control, seat belt reminders for all seats, hill hold assist, keyless entry, central locking, reverse parking sensors and tyre repair kit.
The range-topping ZXi variant comes with premium comfort, convenience and safety features including a larger infotainment system, leatherette seat upholstery, leatherette steering wheel wrap, HUD, rear USB Type-C fast charging ports, 64-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, 6-speaker ARKAMYS surround sound system, AQI display and more.
On the safety front, the top variant adds a 360-degree camera, an auto dimming IRVM, tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC, 6 airbags, hill start assist, rear defogger and Level 1 ADAS.
