The Skoda Kodiaq RS is now on sale in India at Rs 66.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 50 units of the performance SUV were allocated for the first batch, all of which were sold out in just 6 minutes of the booking window opening. Its launch coincides with two significant milestones for the brand: over 50 years of the RS badge and 125 years of Škoda’s motorsport legacy.

The performance SUV is being offered in four exterior colour options – Velvet Red, Magic Black, Moon White and Steel Grey. It comes with a sporty all-black interior theme complimented by contrasting red stitching and accents.
Powerful Engine & Key Components
For power, the Kodiaq RS uses a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, producing a whooping 265PS and 400Nm. The same engine offers 204PS and 320Nm in the standard Kodiaq. Transmission duties are handled by a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The new Skoda performance SUV accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 6.3 seconds, which makes it the brand’s fastest car in India. It offers a top speed of 231kmph.
The SUV features an advanced all-wheel-drive (AWD) system comprising an electro-hydraulically controlled inter-axle multi-plate clutch, supported by sensors that continuously monitor driving conditions. The system intelligently distributes power between the front and rear axles, ensuring optimal traction, stability, and performance across varying terrains and driving scenarios.
Features such as progressive steering (as standard) and Škoda Auto’s latest-generation Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) Plus with Driving Mode Select enhance its overall performance. The modes include Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, and Snow, along with a dedicated Off-Road mode.
