Some Honor Win 2 specs leak again, Honor Win Pad Mini could be on the way too

We’ve already seen the upcoming Honor Win 2’s specs leaked not once, but twice, and today the prolific leaker who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo is back again with details about the device.

According to him, the Win 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC (though it’s unclear if it’s the ‘vanilla’ option or the Pro), and has a 10,000 mAh battery with support for wireless charging.

Its flat screen has “2K” resolution and an “ultra-high” refresh rate, as well as an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The phone also comes with a telephoto camera on its back, high-level water resistance, great dual stereo speakers, a large vibration motor, and a cooling fan.

Interestingly, the same source claims Honor is also working on a small tablet that could be launching alongside the Win 2. This may be called Win Pad Mini, and it has an 8-inch OLED screen with an ultra-high refresh rate and narrow bezels. It will be powered by a “flagship” Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Translating from Chinese doesn’t make it very clear if DCS means the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC from 2024, or a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which could be the Gen 5 or Gen 6 also. If the development of this tablet will continue, we have no doubt that subsequent rumors will clear up the confusion and also bring us more leaked specs.
