Cello World
Goldman Sachs sold over 13.82 lakh equity shares in Cello World via bulk deal worth Rs 55 crore. The shares were sold at a price of Rs 401 apiece and were sold by its affiliate Goldman Sachs Funds. The stake sale follows significant underperformance by the stock over the past year. Its share price has eroded by 24% in this period, while the Nifty and the BSE Sensex have traded flat.
Torrent Power
Fair trade regulator Competition Commission of India has cleared Torrent Power’s proposal to acquire 100% stake in Nabha Power. The move came after Torrent Power, in February, said it entered into an agreement with L&T Power Development to acquire 100% equity stakes in Nabha Power for an enterprise value of Rs 6,889 crore.
J&K Bank

State-owned REC Ltd on Tuesday said Director (Projects) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Rajiv Ranjan Jha has been appointed as nominee director of PFC on the board of REC.
