Tata Nexon Camo Edition Priced at Rs 9.99 Lakh – 12.3” Screen, Dashcam & New Colours


The Tata Nexon Camo Edition has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s a limited-run edition, and is available across five trims – Creative, Creative+ S, Creative+ PS, Fearless+ PS and Fearless+ A. Compared to the standard model, the Camo edition receives several cosmetic and feature enhancements. It’s available in two exclusive colour options – Munnar Mist and Coorg Cloud.

Camo Graphics & New Features

On the exterior, the Nexon Camo Edition features Camo badging on the front fenders. No other changes have been made to the special edition. Inside the cabin, it gets ‘Camo’ perforation on the front seat headrests. In terms of features, the special edition offers a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system replacing the standard 10.25-inch unit. Tata has also equipped it with a dashcam.

Feature List

The Nexon Camo Edition offers all the features available from the standard Creative trim onwards. These include automatic climate control with touch-enabled panel, cruise control, JBL 9-speaker audio system, USB Type-C and Type-A charging ports for front passengers, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor and an ADAS suite.

Same Engine & Gearbox Options

Mechanically, the new Nexon Camo Edition remains unchanged. It continues to come with the existing three engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2L turbo-petrol + CNG and a 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 120bhp and 170Nm of torque, while the CNG version is good enough for 100bhp and 170Nm. The oil burner produces a peak power of 115bhp and 260Nm of torque.

Similar the regular Nexon, the limited-run Camo Edition comes with multiple gearbox options including a 6-speed manual, an AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, depending on the variant.

Competition

In the sub-4 metre SUV segment, the Tata Nexon takes on the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Soent, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
