The long-wait for the all-new Tata Sierra is finally over as the carmaker has launched the SUV in India at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). The model lineup comes in seven trims – Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure +, Accomplished and Accomplished +, and six colour options – Munnar Mist (Green), Bengal Rough (Red), Andaman Adventure (Yellow), Pristine White (White), Pure Grey and Coorg Cloud.

The Sierra model lineup is available with three engine options – 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L direct-injection turbocharged petrol and 1.5L diesel. The naturally aspirated petrol motor produces a maximum power of 106bhp and 145Nm of torque, while the turbocharged unit offers power worth 160bhp and 255Nm of torque. The diesel engine pushes out a peak power of 118bhp and 260Nm (MT)/280Nm (AT) torque.
A 6-speed automatic gearbox is available with the turbo-petrol and diesel engines only. A 6-speed manual transmission can be had with either NA petrol or diesel engine. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is exclusively offered with the NA petrol variants.
