Following the recent launch of the updated Punch EV, Tata Motors appears to be preparing another update for the Tiago EV. Fresh spy images of a camouflaged test vehicle have surfaced online. As seen in the images, the electric hatchback could receive noticeable design and feature upgrades ahead of a possible launch in the near future. Let’s take a quick look at what we can expect.

The test mule features heavy camouflage at the front indicating that the car is likely to get a revised fascia. The upcoming model is expected to feature a redesigned nose section with a blanked-off grille and a new bumper. Sharper LED headlamps and slimmer DRLs also appear to be part of the update. Some styling changes at the rear are also likely, including revised tail lamps and a new bumper design.Besides, the test vehicle appears to have new aero-style alloy designs. The lower grille area seems to have horizontal slats, and the placement of the fog lamps may also be revised.

The cabin is also expected to receive upgrades. The updated model may get an updated touchscreen infotainment system along with a new digital instrument cluster. Besides, we can expect additions such as a 360-degree camera and wireless charging.On the mechanical side, the facelifted Tiago EV is expected to continue with the existing battery options. The current model is offered with 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs, with a claimed range of up to 315 km. There is also speculation that a larger battery pack could be introduced in the future, although no official confirmation has been provided yet.
