Like the first part, this one also talks about the sinister style in which fanatic Muslims forcibly convert gullible Hindu girls by feigning love affairs with them. The story traces the horrific experiences of three such Hindu girls who get trapped by three different Muslim boys.On the whole, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is a well-made film but with a hurried climax. It will do well at the box-office as its collections will pick up due to strong and favourable mouth publicity.

The 131-minute Hindi movie points fingers at modern Hindus who don’t bring up their children to be religious enough. While secularism is an obvious target, writers Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Amarnath Jha also try to turn the criticism of the previous movie on its head. When Surekha accuses her parents of being Islamophobic, they look horrified. Don’t talk like right-wing fanatics, the anguished parents are told. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond lives up to its title. The film goes far beyond its predecessor.

To conclude the review, The Kerala Story 2- Goes Beyond is a disturbing, eye-opening film that sheds light on the brutal realities of love jihad and religious extremism. Despite its predictability and some poorly executed accents, it succeeds in evoking strong emotional reactions and raising awareness. The film’s raw portrayal of violence, forced conversions, and betrayal serves as a wake-up call. While it isn’t a perfect film, its clichés, pacing issues, and uncomfortable scenes detract slightly; it remains a powerful attempt to spark dialogue on a sensitive issue. The performances and emotional intensity make it a notable social commentary. Overall, it’s a hard-hitting, thought-provoking watch that stays with you long after the credits roll.

The first instalment of “The Kerala Story” and the trailer of Kerala Story 2 already conveyed what is actually there in the film. So there is no thrill factor suspense factor or twist factor to hook the audience. It is only about witnessing how each male antagonist lures betrays and tortures the female protagonists.
