The OnePlus N-series is coming soon to India, will launch on Amazon

There has been talk that OnePlus is in the process of launching a new entry-level series in India – it will be called the “OnePlus N” series and will compete in the under-₹20,000 price range against Redmi, Realme and Poco phones. Now, both OnePlus India and Amazon India are teasing this new series.

The company posted this image on X, which confirms the name of the series and says that it’s “coming soon” as an Amazon Specials launch. For what it’s worth, the actual name of the phone is rumored to be “OnePlus N6,” but this image doesn’t confirm that.

You may be thinking “What about the Nord series?” Indeed, OnePlus sells Nord phones in India. There are the Nord 6, Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite. That last one is the cheapest of the three, but even it costs ₹23,000 for its base 6/128GB configuration. The N6 is supposed to come in under ₹20,000.

The Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite also launched as Amazon Specials offerings, by the way, so the N-series continues the existing partnership.

The N-series is rumored to launch some time next month. However, there is no official confirmation of that just yet. Let’s not read too much into things, but the Prime Day was held on July 15, 2015. There is no official date for this year’s Prime Day in India yet, but a recent press release is nodding towards July 15.

Anyway, you can have a peek at the landing page on OnePlus India and on Amazon India. At least for now, however, there is nothing more to see.
