Xiaomi has announced the India launch of the Redmi Note 17 5G, which will be taking place tomorrow, on August 6 at 12:00PM IST. This is an online-only event, and will be live-streamed on YouTube.
The Redmi Note 17 5G is the latest in Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note series of phones, and the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 15 5G. Key features of this new device include an 8000mAh battery, 120Hz AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, 50MP camera on the back, and finally the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.
The phone should go on sale some time later this month. It will come in three colors, a blue, a black, and a purple with a distinctive star-streak pattern.
