Top-Selling Mahindra SUV Getting Bigger Screens, New Features & More

Earlier this year, Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the XUV 7XO facelift with several cosmetic and interior updates. The carmaker is now gearing up to launch the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift and Thar facelift; however, their exact launch dates are yet to be announced. In terms of pricing and positioning, the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N will continue to compete with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

Major Interior Upgrades

Spy shots reveal that the new Mahindra Scorpio N will receive noticeable changes inside the cabin. One of the biggest attractions will be its larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display borrowed from the Mahindra Thar Roxx. The redesigned centre console will feature a new satin silver surround along with the slightly repositioned vertical AC vents.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Production Begin

The SUV will continue to offer the dual-tone brown & black cabin theme and a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. Features such as a 12-speaker Sony sound system, wireless charging, front parking sensors, powered front seats, leatherette interiors, dual zone climate control, sunroof, connected car tech, ESC, hill hold and descent control, multiple airbags will continue to be on offer.

Subtle Design Changes

On the exterior, the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is likely to get newly-designed headlamps and taillamps, redesigned fog lamps, new alloy wheels and new trim elements. While its overall dimensions are likely to remain unchanged, the SUV lineup might get new exterior colour options.

Same Petrol & Diesel Engines

Mechanically, the new Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to retain the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options. Transmission choices might also remain unchanged – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.

Expected Pricing

Considering the design changes and feature enhancements, the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N is expected witness only a marginal price hike. While the pre-facelift model is priced between Rs 13.2 lakh – Rs 23.99 lakh, the MY2026 is expected to cost around Rs 14 lakh for the base variant and nearly Rs 26 lakh for the top trim.
