The Toyota Rumion MPV lineup has further been expanded with a new entry-level ‘E’ trim, priced at Rs 9.56 lakh (ex-showroom). Compared to the S petrol-manual variant (second base variant), which is available at Rs 10.51 lakh, the new E trim is Rs 95,000 more affordable.
The G and V petrol-manual variants are offered at Rs 11.64 lakh and Rs 12.39 lakh, respectively. The automatic variants are available in the price range of Rs 12.05 lakh – Rs 13.86 lakh, while the S CNG variant costs Rs 11.40 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

Toyota Rumion E Variant Features
The new entry-level variant has been packed with goodies such as all four power windows, hill hold assist, 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, LED taillamps and projector halogen headlamps. However, it misses out on features such as an audio system, manually adjustable IRVM, rear AC vents, ABS with EBD and brake assist, which are standard from the S variant.
Toyota Rumion Engine Specs
Under the hood, the Rumion MPV features a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine that’s good for a 103bhp and 137Nm. The new E trim is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission is offered on select variants.
The CNG version, which uses the same petrol engine paired with a CNG kit, delivers a maximum power of 88bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. Toyota claims that the Rumion offers a fuel efficiency of 20.51kmpl, while the CNG version promises a mileage of 26.11km/kg.
