Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled its electric offering for India – the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella. It’s essentially the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, which is slated to hit showrooms in the coming weeks. In the midsize EV segment, the new Urban Cruiser Ebella will face challenge from cars like Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6 and VinFast VF6.
Prices of the new Toyota EV SUV will be announced later. However, the carmaker has confirmed that the model will be available with an 8-year battery warranty and a BaaS (Battery as a Service) rental scheme along with over 500 EV-enabled service touchpoints.
