The new Renault Duster is all set to hit Indian roads on 17th March 2026, with the official price announcement. Delivers of the SUV will begin in April. Pre-bookings can be made by paying a sum of Rs 21,000 at any authorized Renault dealership. The carmaker has confirmed that the turbo-petrol Duster will be followed by the strong hybrid version before Diwali, 2026.

Turbo-Petrol Engine Specs
Initially, the Duster SUV lineup will be available in two turbocharged petrol engine options – a 100PS, 1.0L (borrowed from the Kiger) and a 163PS, 1.3L. A 6-speed manual gearbox will come as standard, while the larger 1.3L turbo petrol engine can also be had with a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission.

Strong Hybrid Specs
The new Renault Duster hybrid, slated to arrive in the coming months, will use a 109bhp, 1.8L petrol engine paired with a 49bhp electric motor, a 1.4kWh battery pack and a 20bhp hybrid starter generator. This setup delivers a combined power output of 160PS, making it the most powerful hybrid SUV in its category.
Premium Interior & Features
The 2026 Renault Duster is far more premium than its predecessor. The SUV features a newly-designed dashboard with integrated dual-screen setup, silver accents and green contrast stitching, leatherette seat upholstery and a three-spoke wheel with mounted controls. Other key features include

While the official prices of the new Renault Duster will be announced soon, it’s expected to cost around Rs 10-11 lakh for the base variant, and nearly Rs 20 lakh for the fully-loaded turbo petrol variant. It will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
