Urban Company Q4 Results: Cons loss swells 57X to Rs 161 crore; revenue jumps 43% YoY


Urban Company on Friday reported a widened consolidated net loss of Rs 161 crore in its March quarter as compared to Rs 2.8 crore posted in the year ago period.

The losses swelled 57 times in the quarter under review despite a 43% jump in its Q4FY26 revenue from operations, which stood at Rs 426 crore compared to Rs 298 crore in the corresponding period of the last financial year.

The losses were higher on a sequential basis as well, rising nearly 8 times as against Rs 21 crore in Q3FY26 while the topline grew 11% quarter-on-quarter from Rs 383 crore in the October-December quarter of FY26.

The earnings were announced after market hours, and Urban Company shares fell 6% on the NSE amid broader market weakness to settle at Rs 137.

The losses were higher on a sequential basis as well, rising nearly 8X versus Rs 21 crore in Q3FY26 while the topline grew 11% quarter-on-quarter from Rs 383 crore in the October-December quarter of FY26.

The earnings were announced after market hours and Urban Company shares fell 6% on the NSE amid broader market weakness to close at Rs 137.80.

The ecommerce platform that offers professional services reported a 42% YoY growth in its net transacting value (NTV) in the quarter under review to Rs 1,148 core, which the company claimed was highest in 15 quarters.The adjusted Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) loss was Rs 98 crore in Q4FY26 while adjusted EBITDA (Ex-InstaHelp) stood at Rs 22 Crore while its margins improved by 160 bps.

For the full financial year, NTV grew 31% YoY to Rs 4,290 crore while revenue from operations grew 36% YoY to Rs 1,556 crore. Both NTV and Revenue accelerated for the second consecutive year, the company filing said.

Key highlights for FY26

— India Consumer Services (Ex. InstaHelp) NTV grew 26% YoY in Q4 FY26 (Highest across 11 quarters)

— International (UAE & Singapore) Q4FY26 NTV grew 84% YoY.

— Both India Consumers Services (Ex. InstaHelp) and International remained profitable in Q4 FY26, improving their margins YoY.

— Native NTV grew 67% YoY and Revenue grew 75% YoY in Q4 FY26.

— InstaHelp delivered 2.7 million orders and Rs 40 Cr NTV in Q4 FY26, up from 1.6 million orders and Rs 28 crore NTV in Q3 FY26. March alone crossed 1.1 million orders.
