The plan calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages, and the protection of civilians on both sides. It also stresses the need for stronger regional cooperation and international monitoring to ensure compliance. Trump has argued that only a detailed, step-by-step framework can restore stability. Hamas has yet to give its judgement on the 20-point plan, casting uncertainty over the initiative to end the ongoing conflict. The plan calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas within 72 hours, the disarmament of Hamas, and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, followed by a post-war transitional authority headed by Trump himself.India was one of the first countries to recognise a Palestinian state in 1988 and also supported a two-state solution at the UN.Since the nearly three-year war, over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
