vivo has now quietly launched the V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan. This is not to be confused with the V80 Lite 5G that will be landing in India on September 3, since the two look nothing alike.
The Pakistani version comes with a 6.83-inch curved POLED display with 1260×2800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,000-nit peak brightness. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
On the rear there’s a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while for selfies you get a 32MP snapper. Keeping the lights on is a 7,050 mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging. vivo promises that the battery will last at least 1,600 charge cycles before the capacity drops below 80%.
The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top and is promised to receive three major OS upgrades and five years of security updates. It’s IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance and tested to survive 1m drops onto seven types of smooth surfaces.
The V80 Lite 5G is being offered in Silk White and Sapphire Blue for PKR 124,999 (approximately $450 at the current exchange rate) with 128GB of storage and PKR 145,999 ($525) with 256GB.
