vivo X300 Ultra said to support a dual lens teleconverter kit

The vivo X300 Ultra is shaping up to be a camera powerhouse, if recent leaks are accurate. Ahead of its expected launch next month, a new rumor has surfaced revealing details about the phone’s external teleconverter kit.

Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared new details once again. In a post on Weibo, the leakster claims the upcoming X300 Ultra will feature an industry-first external teleconverter kit with a dual lens setup.

The teleconverter kit is said to include a 400mm fixed-focus prime lens while also supporting a 200mm focal length, enabling higher-quality images and extended optical zoom. However, the tipster notes that users will only be able to use one focal length at a time. vivo has reportedly taken this approach to reduce complexity, with the system based on its V-mount accessory standard.

The vivo X300 Ultra is rumored to go official in March with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and dual 200MP rear cameras. It is also said to offer a 5MP multispectral sensor, improved low-light photography, and a bigger ultrawide camera.
