vivo continues to share new details about its upcoming X500 series, following the recent confirmation of several key camera features on the X500 Pro Max. The company has now detailed the chipset that will power the X500 Pro models.
While vivo has not revealed the chipset’s exact model, it has confirmed that the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will be powered by a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
The new Dimensity chipset is built on TSMC’s second-generation 2nm N2P process and features an all-new GPU architecture and an “ultra-high-performance NPU”.
The Pro models will also feature a new imaging chip supporting 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, 60fps video autofocus tracking, 4K Dolby Portrait video, one-tap AI video highlight generation, and hardware-level video super-resolution.
Recent leaks suggest that the chipset in question could be the yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9600 Pro.
