The vivo Y04 launched in February of 2025, and exactly one year later, its successor, the Y05, has now made its debut in the Middle East.
The phone comes with a 6.74-inch 720×1600 IPS LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, and it’s powered by the 4G-only Unisoc T7225 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of expandable storage. On the rear there’s an 8MP camera, and for selfies you get a 5MP shooter.

The Y05 has a metal frame and a plastic back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, and an RGB notification LED on the back. The lights are kept on by a 6,500 mAh battery which supports 15W wired charging.

The handset runs Android 16 with vivo’s OriginOS 6 on top. It measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 209g. It’s being offered in black and white. The Y05 is priced at $109.
