vivo has launched two new entry-level smartphones in India today. Meet the Y11 and Y21, which both reuse names vivo already went with before – in fact, this is the fourth Y11 so far, following the original from 2014, the one from 2019, and the one from 2023. Thankfully, the Y21 is only the second one ever, following the original Y21 from 2021.
Anyway, the 2026 Y11 and Y21 share most specs. Where they differ is in the camera department – the Y11 has a 13MP rear camera, while the Y21 gets a 50MP sensor. The Y21 has faster 44W charging too (vs. 15W on the Y11), and one of the colors has a different name. The Y11 is offered in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Blue, while the Y21 comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue.

Those are all the differences. Both phones have the same 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness, the Dimensity 6300 SoC at the helm, and a 6,500 mAh battery. They both have an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, and they have SGS-certified Military Grade Shock Resistance too. They run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top.
