After unveiling the Xiaomi 18 Fold last week, the Chinese manufacturer is now gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 18 Pro series. While Xiaomi has yet to announce a launch date, the company has officially begun teasing its upcoming flagship lineup.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in China later this month, the company confirmed in a teaser video shared on Weibo.
The teaser offers a first look at the rear panel of the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series, including the rear display similar to the one found on the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.
However, Xiaomi says the rear display has been upgraded and is now more versatile than before. The company has not revealed what has changed, but you can watch the teaser below.
A recent rumor claimed that the 18 Pro lineup will feature a larger rear display. The short teaser also shows the phone’s triple rear camera setup. Two sensors are housed inside a large rectangular camera plateau, while the third sits outside it, similar to the setup on the Xiaomi 17 Pro series.
Xiaomi’s Weibo post also states that more details about the upcoming phones will be revealed tomorrow.
Notably, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max were recently certified in China with support for 100W wired charging. The phones are also rumored to be the first smartphones to use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
