Xiaomi recently began teasing its flagship 18 Pro series and has now revealed more details about the phones, including their launch date, color options, and key specs. The company has also confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will sport a hardware-level privacy display.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will debut in China on September 23 with an upgraded rear display, HyperOS 4, and several other hardware improvements.
The phones will feature a hardware-level privacy display, similar to the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Xiaomi has also revealed that the phones will use a new M11 luminescent panel, which is claimed to be 20 percent more efficient than the previous generation.
According to Xiaomi, the new display will offer a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and is claimed to be more efficient than 2K resolution panels. The displays will also feature ultra thin 0.99mm bezels.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be available in Black, Galaxy Blue, and White color options.
Xiaomi has also confirmed several other details about the upcoming phones, including their battery capacities. The Xiaomi 18 Pro will pack a 7,000mAh battery, while the 18 Pro Max will feature a larger 8,500mAh unit.
Both phones will feature Leica branded triple rear camera setups with a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is also confirmed to be powered by a 2nm chipset, which is likely to be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
