Zeeshan Ayyub was quoted by the Hindustan Times as saying that social media has given people “unlimited power.” He added, “People have started believing that (social media) is the entire world, but it’s not. It’s just a phase.”The actor expressed that the creative freedom is currently under pressure due to such online protests and outrages. However, Zeeshan added that initially things used to shock him, but it’s not like that anymore. He said, “Now it’s more like, lo phir kuch ho gaya. Isse kadwahat zaroor aa jaati hai (Now it’s more like, ‘Oh, here we go again, something has happened.’ It definitely brings a certain bitterness). But if you take it too seriously, you won’t be able to work.“

Zeeshan Ayyub’s advice

He said that as actors and creative people, everyone should keep doing their bit, and “those who want to create a hindrance will do theirs. There’s no point getting too disturbed now.”
