JSW MG Motor India has planned nearly six new model launches for FY2026-27, including EVs and plug-in hybrids. The carmaker will also continue to offering select ICE (internal combustion engine) models including the soon-to-be-launched MG Majestor that recently entered production at the company’s Halol facility in Gujarat. Pre-bookings for the Majestor are opened at Rs 41,000. In 2026, MG will also introduce its first plug-in hybrid model in India, which is expected to be based on the Wuling Starlight 560.

Here’s a quick look at the key details of these upcoming MG SUVs.

MG Majestor

The MG Majestor model lineup will be available in two trims, Sharp and Savvy, with expected price of around Rs 40 lakh – Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Under the hood, the SUV features a 2.0L twin turbo petrol engine, producing power worth 215bhp and 478.5Nm of torque. This motor is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system with low range. The SUV gets three locking differentials and five driving modes – Normal, Mud, Sand, Rock and Snow.

Inside, the Majestor offers a black-theme cabin with contrasting silver trims. It comes packed with several advanced features such as dual 12.4-inch displays, a 12-speaker JBL Studio sound system, 12-way powered driver’s seat with a memory function, an 8-way powered co-driver’s seat, 64 colour ambient lighting, Level 2 ADAS, TPMS, hill hold and hill descent controls and more.

MG Starlight 560

The MG Starlight 560 plug-in hybrid SUV is expected arrive by October, 2026. Similar to the global-spec version, the India-bound model could be offered with a 1.5L petrol engine paired with a 20.5kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor producing 136bhp. This setup delivers a combined power of 197bhp and 230Nm of torque. It offers a claimed a pure electric driving range of up to 100km.

Globally, the Starlight 560 is available in both 5 and 7-seats configurations. Some of its key features include a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 6-speaker audio system and more.
