The Kia Carens MPV lineup is now available with a CNG fuel option. The CNG kit is available as a dealer-level fitment at an additional cost of Rs 77,900 over the petrol-powered Premium (O) variant, which is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s a government-approved CNG kit sourced from Lovato, and offered with a third-party warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometres. The power, torque and mileage figures of the 2025 Kia Carens CNG are yet to be revealed.

Similar to the standard Premium (O) petrol variant, the Kia Carens CNG offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4 speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted controls, voice recognition, rear view camera, leather + fabric upholstery, digital instrument cluster, rear disc brakes, hill start assist, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent control and more.

The Kia Carens shares its powertrains with the Seltos including a 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol, a 140bhp, 1.4L turbo-petrol and a 115bhp, 1.5L diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The Carens petrol is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of up to 16.5kmpl, while the diesel version offers a mileage of 21.5kmpl.
