2025 Maruti Ertiga Updated – Check New Features Before Buying


Maruti Suzuki’s top-selling MPV – the Ertiga – has been silently updated with new features. While the updates are now listed in the product brochure, the carmaker is yet to make an official announcement. The 2025 Maruti Ertiga now comes with a redesigned rear roof spoiler featuring black inserts on both sides, standard across the model lineup.

The second-row AC vents has been repositioned from the roof to behind the centre console, while the third row now get dedicated vents with blower speed control placed on the right-hand side. Customers also benefit from two Type-C USB ports for both the second and third row seats.

Engine Specs:

No other changes have been made to its design and interior. The 2025 Maruti Ertiga uses the same 1.5L K-Series petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 102bhp and 136Nm of torque. The CNG variant delivers a claimed power of 87bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual (standard) and a 6-speed automatic (available on select variants).

New Maruti SUV Launching Tomorrow

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch an all-new midsize SUV on 3rd September 2025, which is likely to be named the ‘Maruti Victoris’. It will be positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, and compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and other models in the segment. The Maruti Victoris will share its powertrains with the Grand Vitara – i.e. a 1.5L mild hybrid petrol, a 1.5L strong hybrid and a CNG.

According to reports, the Maruti Victoris will be the brand’s first model to offer Level-2 ADAS (autonomous driver assistance system) and Dolby Atmos technology. It will also be Maruti Suzuki’s first vehicle to feature an underbody CNG tank. Unlike the Grand Vitara, the Victoris will additionally offer a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system.
