Honda Cars India has recently confirmed six new model launches for the current financial year (FY2027). While the Honda ZR-V hybrid SUV and 0 Alpha-based electric SUV have been officially confirmed, the upcoming range is also expected to include the Elevate facelift. The carmaker has also revealed that it’s evaluating the hybrid-powered versions of the Civic, Accord and CR-V along with the Prelude hybrid sports car for the Indian market.

2026 Honda Elevate Facelift – What to Expect?

For the first time, the new 2026 Honda Elevate facelift has been spied testing on Indian roads. The spied test mule was heavily camouflaged concealing most of its design details. While the overall silhouette and stance appear similar to the current model, the new Honda Elevate facelift is likely to feature a revised front grille, slightly tweaked front bumper and lighting elements. The SUV might also get newly-designed alloy wheels and redesigned taillamp graphics.

What Could Be New Inside the Cabin?

As of now, interior details are not available. However, the new 2026 Honda Elevate is expected to receive new trims and upholstery. Honda might also make its ADAS suite more accessible by offering it across more variants. Currently, the Honda Sensing ADAS suite is exclusively offered in the top-end ZX trim.

Most existing features are expected to carried over including leatherette upholstery, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-speaker sound system, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, connected car tech with Alex compatibility, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple airbags, vehicle stability assist with ESC, hill start assist, ABS with EBD and several more.   

Engine & Gearbox Options

Mechanically, the new Honda Elevate facelift is likely to remain unchanged. Similar to the current model, it will continue to feature a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 121bhp and 145Nm of torque.

Hybrid For Elevate – Rumour or Reality?

There were rumours that Honda Elevate could be receive a hybrid powertrain with its midlife update. However, there is no official confirmation so far. Honda Cars India appears to have a strong focus on introducing globally popular hybrid models in India, primarily to strengthen brand image.
