Hyundai Motor India has planned 20 new product launches by 2030, including 20 ICE (internal combustion engine) and electrified models. Besides these new launches, the South Korean automaker will give a full generational upgrade to three of its popular models – the Creta, i20 and i10. The next-generation Hyundai Creta is set to launch in the first half of 2027, followed by the all-new i20 and i10 hatchbacks by the end of the year.

Here’s a brief overview of these upcoming new-generation Hyundai models.

Next-Gen Hyundai Creta

The all-new Hyundai Creta will come with significantly improved styling, feature enhancements and a new strong hybrid powertrain. According to reports, the South Korean carmaker will electrify its proven 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine for the Creta. The existing petrol and diesel engine options will also be carried forward.

Inside, the 2027 Hyundai Creta is expected to feature the brand’s new Pleos Connect infotainment system, along with features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system, an updated Level 2 ADAS and more.

Next-Gen Hyundai i20

The fourth-generation i20 made its global debut in Brazil in June, 2026. The hatchback features a curved panoramic panel that integrates a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a large touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with Hyundai’s illuminated Morse code ‘H’ logo and semi-leatherette upholstery.

The powertrain specifications are still under the wraps. However, the India-spec 2027 Hyundai i20 is expected to retain the existing engine options. The carmaker might also introduce a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine in the hatchback lineup.

Next-Gen Hyundai i10

The popular i10 hatchback is expected to receive a generational upgrade in late 2027 or 2028. Details of the new model are yet to be revealed. However, it’s likely to move to a new platform and receive comprehensive design changes and feature upgrades.
