Tata Motors is set to end the year on a high note, as the all-new Sierra and multiple recent launches have worked in its favour. Welcoming the new year, the homegrown automaker will introduce four new SUVs in early 2026 including the Harrier and Safari petrol, Punch facelift and Sierra EV. Let’s take a look at the key details of these upcoming Tata SUVs.
Top 4 Upcoming Tata SUVs
Tata Harrier/Safari Petrol

The Tata Harrier and Safari petrol variants were earlier slated to launch on 9th December 2025. However, their market launch has been slightly delayed. Both petrol SUVs are now expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
Tata will equip these models with a new 1.5L direct injection, turbocharged petrol engine, which meets the BS6 Phase II emission standards, and is capable of running on E20 ethanol petrol mix fuel. This motor delivers a claimed power of 170PS at 5,000rpm and 280Nm of torque between 2,000rpm – 3,500rpm. It will be available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
Tata Punch Facelift

One of Tata’s top-selling Punch subcompact SUVs – the Punch – is set to receive a midlife update in early 2026. The updated model is likely to witness minor cosmetic changes, feature upgrades and tech enhancements. Spy images reveal that the SUV might feature a slightly updated front grille and bumper and redesigned headlamps and a few design elements borrowed from the Punch EV.
Inside, the 2026 Tata Punch facelift might get a new two-spoke steering wheel similar to the one seen in the Altroz. Features such as an 8-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags as standard and blind spot monitor could also be offered. Mechanically, the updated Punch is expected to remain unchanged.
Tata Sierra EV
The Tata Sierra EV will go on sale in India soon. The latest spy images indicate that the electric SUV will feature multi-link rear suspension similar to the Harrier EV. It might also borrow the powertrain from the Harrier EV, which is currently available with the 65kWh and 75kWh battery pack options. While the Harrier EV promises a range of up to 627km per charge on MIDC cycle, the Tata Sierra EV is expected to offer a driving range of over 500km.
