The vivo V80 Lite appeared on an Indian retailer’s Instagram page earlier this week, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, the official vivo Malaysia website has confirmed the phone’s launch, albeit with a different design.
vivo Malaysia has announced that the V80 Lite 5G will launch in the country on September 3. The company has also confirmed that the phone will pack a 10,000mAh battery.
The company has also revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone. It will be available in black, green, and pink color options and features a flat frame and flat rear panel. The rear houses a square-shaped camera module with a 50MP primary sensor.
Interestingly, the teaser that surfaced earlier this week showed the vivo V80 Lite with a curved display. This suggests that the company could offer different designs for the phone in different markets. The Indian variant is expected to be a rebranded version of the recently launched vivo S2.
