MG Majestor SUV Bookings Open; Launch In April 2026

The production-ready MG Majestor SUV has finally made its India debut at an event in Gurugram. Pre-bookings for the SUV have been commenced at Rs 41,000. Prices will be announced in April, while deliveries are slated to begin in May 2026. The SUV lineup will come in three variants (Sharp, Savvy and Savvy 4X4), and two seating configuration options – 6 and 7-seats.

The first 3,000 pre-bookings will be benefited with a complimentary 5 year unlimited kilometre warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance (RSA) and a 5 year labour-free service contract. Positioned above the Gloster, the new premium three-row SUV takes directly on the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. MG claims that the Majestor is India’s first D+ SUV, and the longest, widest and tallest vehicle in its category.

MG Majestor: Engine & Power

Starting with the engine, the Majestor derives power from the 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine, paired to an 8-speed torque convertor automatic transmission. The motor produces a maximum power of 215bhp and 478Nm of torque.

The SUV comes equipped with a standard AWD (all-wheel drive) system and ‘M-Hub’ feature enabling driver to select from 10 different drive/terrain modes. Further enhancing its off-road capabilities are the ‘M-Crawl’ function, three differential locks and a dedicated low-speed transfer case.
