Motorola’s Signature, its current flagship smartphone, came out in January, and now the company is almost ready to reveal its successor, the Signature 27. Motorola started teasing the upcoming device earlier this month, and today it has announced its unveiling date: September 22.
That is also when Qualcomm is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipsets, during its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. Motorola specifically calls out the Snapdragon Summit, so it looks like the Signature 27 using one of those chips is a given.

In fact, Motorola could actually be presenting the Signature 27 on stage at the Snapdragon Summit. Whether that means it will get a full unveiling or just a tease remains to be seen. As you can see in the video above, the Signature 27 will come in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive colors, and Motorola is also telling us to expect some interesting materials to be used.
