The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is now official with a large 6,500mAh battery, a triple rear camera setup, and improved protection over the Pro model.

It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display supports HDR10 and is protected with the Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner as well.

At the back, the design and the camera module remain similar to the Camon 50 Pro model. There’s a primary 50MP wide sensor, a 50MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the phone features a 50MP camera with autofocus.

The phone gets a premium build with a glass sandwich design with curved sides where the rear is protected by the Gorilla Glass 7i. The Camon 50 Ultra 5G also gets a MIL-STD-810 certification, and up to an IP69K dust and water resistance rating.

It packs a 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and bypass charging. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Camon 50 Ultra 5G runs Android 16-based HiOS 16 and is promised to receive up to 3 OS upgrades. Other specs include 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, dual speakers, and FM Radio.

We don’t have the exact pricing and availability details of the phone right now, but it will start at around €400 in the EU. The phone will be sold in a bunch of colors including Orange, Green, Purple, and Black.
