India vs England Live Score, T20 World Cup Semi-Final 2026: Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube take India beyond 200 vs England

Probably the biggest game I’ve been a part of, so, it’s been a pretty special tournament and to get this far has been great. It is another game, but also it’s a semi-final of a World Cup, so it is slightly different.

Baz always talks about going towards danger, and I think that’s something we’ve got to do today as a team, hopefully it comes off. (On facing Varun Chakaravarthy) Yeah, obviously, seeing the journey he’s gone on the last few years, he’s the number one T20 bowler in the world, I think now. But when I was back in the IPL in 2020, I faced a lot of him in the nets, so yeah, it’s going to be an exciting night.

(On facing Bumrah for the first time) Just speaking to other guys, watching a bit of footage, and just relying on your natural instinct, I think. T20 is a high-risk game, I’m still going to have to go out there and put pressure on him. And hopefully it comes off for me. (Peaking at the right time?) I hope so. Yeah, it’s been spoken about a lot, but look, we’re winning and that’s the most important thing. And if we play the perfect game tonight and on Sunday, then yeah, happy days.

(On having played at this venue earlier in this competition) Yeah, huge. I didn’t get as many runs as I would have liked, but it’s a new game, new day. And hopefully one of us puts our hands up and hopefully it’s me. But yeah, the wicket’s gone a little bit more balanced than usual, so just trying to play that into our hands.
