AYANEO wants to find a place in the handheld retro gaming console niche, and it plans to launch yet another Game Boy-like device called KONKR Pocket BLOCK. And as the name implies, it’s a small gaming device that fits your pocket.
KONKR Pocket BLOCK
The company officially teased the KONKR Pocket BLOCK during a streamed event, confirming the design and form factor – a vertical, handheld gaming device with physical buttons, but without the analog stick that other AYANEO devices have.
Interestingly, AYANEO markets the device as the first AI handheld gaming console, but we are not sure what that means. There could be some AI-powered baked-in features?
KONKR Pocket BLOCK
The device is seemingly all-plastic and comes in two colors – gray and purple. At least that’s what AYANEO showed us during the event. The microSD card slot is located on the left, while a 3.5mm audio jack sits at the bottom.
Even though AYANEO didn’t share details anymore, rumors so far point to a generous 3,500 mAh battery and 10W wired charging.
