Back in late August, Nothing unveiled the Nothing OS 5.0 update, based on Android 17, and proceeded to make it available as an open beta for the Nothing Phone (3). Since then, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has also joined the party earlier this month, and today the rollout is expanding to the Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing Phone (3a), and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.

Like with the Nothing Phone (3), the full instructions for joining the open beta program are available at the Source link below. In short, you need to download the latest Nothing Beta Hub app APK, install it, then go to Settings > System > Nothing Beta Hub, tap Check version, and then tap Join Beta to register. Once successfully registered, you can expect the open beta build of Nothing OS 5.0 to arrive as an over-the-air update in a few minutes.
Next up in line to receive an open beta of Nothing OS 5.0 are the Nothing Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus in mid-October, and the Phone (4b) in mid-December. The full stable release of Nothing OS 5.0 will go out to the Nothing Phone (3) in mid-October, the Nothing Phone (4a), (4a) Pro, (3a), and (3a) Pro in early November, the Nothing Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus in mid-November, the Phone (3a) Lite in mid-December, and the Phone (4b) and CMF Phone 2 Pro in mid-January.
