Apple has confirmed that it’s working on a fix for a pretty bad bug that has been affecting some iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max units. If everything goes according to plan, the fix will be incorporated into a new firmware update that is scheduled to be released next week.

In case you’re not aware, the bug basically makes the iPhone freeze and reboot following a failed attempt to authenticate via Face ID. If you have this bug, your phone will simply stop responding to any touch input after the failed Face ID attempt, and then proceed to reboot after a few seconds.
