Apple’s iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27 support list is here


Apple unveiled iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27 at WWDC 2026 and has now confirmed the list of supported devices. The company also seeded the first developer betas of the new software, with the stable versions expected to roll out to eligible devices later this year.

Starting with iOS 27, Apple’s latest iPhone software update will be available for the iPhone SE (2nd gen), the iPhone 11 series, and newer models.

In other words, any iPhone that supports iOS 26 will also be eligible for iOS 27. However, certain Apple Intelligence features, including some of the new Siri AI capabilities, will be limited to select iPhone models.

For iPad users, iPadOS 27 will be available on the iPad mini (6th gen) and newer models, including the iPad mini with A17 Pro.

The update will also support the iPad (9th gen and later), iPad with A16, iPad Air (4th gen and later), iPad Air models powered by the M2 chip and newer, as well as the 13-inch iPad Air. On the Pro side, iPadOS 27 will be compatible with the 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd gen and later), the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (4th gen and later), and iPad Pro models equipped with M4 or newer chips.

As for macOS 27 Golden Gate, the update will be available on Apple silicon-powered Macs, including the Mac Pro, Mac Studio (2022 and newer), Mac mini (2020 and later), iMac (2021 and later), MacBook Pro (2020 and later), and MacBook Air (2020 and newer).

The newly introduced MacBook Neo is also on the list of supported devices.

Finally, watchOS 27 will be available on the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 9 and newer models, as well as the Watch Ultra 2 and Watch Ultra 3.
