BMW F 450 GS – 5 Things You Must Know & Who Should Buy It?

BMW Motorrad’s all-new entry-level F 450 GS adventure tourer is now on sale in India. Introduced as a replacement for the BMW G 310 GS, this new adventure motorcycle is available in three variants, priced from Rs 4.70 lakh to Rs 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom). While bookings are already underway, deliveries are slated to begin in June 2026. TVS’s Hosur facility serves as the production hub for the bike.

Who Should Buy It?

The BMW F 450 GS caters to a niche segment, and is aimed at buyers willing to pay slightly extra for a premium adventure experience. This bike will offer better performance and overall experience than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure, while costing significantly less than the premium Kawasaki Versys 650 and Honda NX500. It stands as a much-improved replacement to the discontinued BMW G 310 GS, but at a higher price.
