T’PURAM: A 21-year-old man from Kerala‘s Aryanad, who had consumed acid last week, died Monday. Police suspected harassment by representatives of online loan apps as the reason behind the drastic step.The deceased was identified as Anand. On the afternoon of March 4, he was found unconscious at a tyre workshop in Tulimoodu, where he was employed. Co-workers rushed him to Nedumangad district hospital. As Anand’s condition deteriorated, he was shifted to GMC Thiruvananthapuram for advanced treatment. He succumbed there.Police registered a case under BNSS Section 194 (unnatural death).
