As Dreame is headed towards an IPO, most likely in the US, aiming to raise tons of money, the company has recently ‘diversified’ its range of products to make itself more interesting to investors. We say ‘diversified’ quote-unquote because vaguely talking about things doesn’t really count as launching them. Case in point: the smartphones.
These were first talked about in China in February, then the company upped the ante by talking about gold phones in March. It’s already the end of April and no specs have been revealed for any of them, but you’ll be happy to hear that Dreame has once again talked about its smartphones – this time “in Silicon Valley”, according to the company’s official release that doesn’t actually name the exact place, weirdly enough.

The Aurora smartphone range comes with “three foundational breakthroughs in imaging, communication, and its AI-native operating system”, Dreame says. The company talked about the Aurora Nex “modular imaging flagship”, the Aurora Lux “luxury series”, and “a new flagship lineup” which we assume doesn’t even have a name yet. Dreame says “the debut signals the brand’s formal entry onto the global stage of next-generation intelligent terminal innovation”.
It goes on like that. “Through foundational technological innovation, the company aims to build a super sensory system that is imperceptible, omnipresent, intimate, and truly human-centric – driving the industry forward from device iteration toward experience revolution”. In case you were wondering, the Aurora “achieves systematic breakthroughs through omnidomain technological innovation”. Word salad at its best.
But wait, there’s also the Aurora Lux which “crafts heirloom-grade luxury tech pieces through exquisite artisanal craftsmanship and rare, premium materials” (gold isn’t rare, by the way, neither are diamonds, and “heirloom pieces” with decaying batteries represent a contradiction to say the least). Oh, and the Aurora Nex “unlocks full-scenario professional capabilities through its modular design architecture”.
The revolution is coming – the perception revolution, that is. “Going forward, Dreame Aurora will continue to expand the boundaries of human perception, driving intelligent terminals to evolve into proactive partners, and joining global users in embracing an entirely new era of the perception revolution”.
