Compact flagships are becoming a rare breed, especially if you want one without compromising on the cameras. That’s precisely where the Pixel 11 Pro comes in. Google’s latest 6.3-inch Pro is small by today’s standards, yet it packs nearly all of the hardware of its larger Pro XL sibling.

The Pixel 11 Pro slots in between the vanilla Pixel 11, which shares its compact footprint but makes some concessions in the camera department, and the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL. So, if you want Google’s full-fledged flagship experience but find the Pro XL a bit too big for your pocket, the Pixel 11 Pro is the obvious choice.

The most notable upgrade this year is, of course, the chipset. The Pixel 11 Pro runs on Google’s new Tensor G6, promising improved performance and efficiency. We’ve put both claims to the test to see how much of an upgrade it really is.

The display is more familiar. It’s still a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, much like the one on the Pixel 10 Pro, though Google promises higher brightness this time around. Not that last year’s model was lacking in that department.

At first glance, the camera hardware also looks largely unchanged, but there are a couple of notable upgrades beneath the surface. The 48MP telephoto camera now uses a considerably larger sensor, while the ultrawide gets a new and marginally larger one as well. Whether those changes translate into better photos is something we’ll find out.

Interestingly, battery capacity has actually gone down, though only by a negligible 20 mAh to 4,850 mAh. Wireless charging gets a much more meaningful upgrade, with 25W magnetic Qi2.2 support replacing the previous 15W solution. Wired charging, however, remains capped at 30W, which is rather disappointing for a flagship in 2026.

The Pixel 11 Pro comes in its usual modest package containing only the user manuals and a USB-C to USB-C cable used for charging and data transfer.
