Nissan India is all set to expand its product portfolio with two new UVs (utility vehicles) – the Gravite subcompact MPV and the Tekton midsize SUV. Targeting family car buyers, the Nissan Gravite will make its official debut on 21st January and go on sale in March, 2026. It will essentially be a re-badged Renault Triber, featuring Nissan’s familiar design elements.
Based on the new-generation Renault Duster, the Nissan Tekton will be showcased on 4th February, followed by its market launch by June, 2026. Here’re the key details of these two upcoming Nissan UVs.
Nissan Gravite

Official teasers reveal that the upcoming Nissan Gravite MPV will carry the brand’s signature design language, featuring elements such as a new grille with inverted L-shaped DRLs, revised front bumper with silver inserts, newly-designed alloy wheels, redesigned taillamps and pronounced ‘Gravite’ badging on the tailgate.
Interior details are still under the wraps. However, the new Nissan MPV is expected have a cabin layout and feature list similar to the Triber, albeit with a different interior theme.
Powering the Gravite is likely to be the Triber’s 1.0, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with two gearbox options – 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. This gasoline motor delivers a maximum power of 72bhp and 96Nm of torque.
Nissan Tekton

The upcoming Nissan Tekton midsize SUV will draw its design inspiration from the Nissan Patrol. Design highlights such as a larger grille with C-shaped design and character lines, sporty bumper and connected LED headlamps will give it a bold and rugged front fascia.
The SUV will feature pull-type door handles at the front and C-pillar mounted rear door handles. The official pictures confirm the presence of silver finished roof rails, multi-spoke alloys, connected LED taillamps, a roof-mounted rear spoiler and sporty black rear bumper in silver finish.
Similar to the new Duster, the Tekton will be offered exclusively with turbocharged petrol engines only. However, official engine specifications are yet to be revealed. The SUV lineup will be available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.
