We’re likely just a couple of weeks away from Apple unveiling its first foldable iPhone. Ahead of the launch, a new Bloomberg report has revealed some of the aspects that have impressed early testers of the so-called iPhone Ultra.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, citing people who have internally tested the upcoming foldable iPhone, has outlined several aspects of the device that impressed early testers.

In his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman notes that testers liked the iPhone Ultra’s overall design and form factor, particularly how easily it fits into a pocket. They also found the hinge to be durable and the iPad-like layout of the inner display to be highly usable.

Early testers were also impressed by how the foldable can function as a camera viewfinder. However, the lack of a telephoto camera could be disappointing to some, especially given the iPhone Ultra’s expected $2,000 price tag.

Apple’s iPhone Ultra is expected to launch next month with a 5.5-inch cover display, a 7.76-inch inner display, and a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor and an ultrawide camera. It is also rumoured to feature Touch ID integrated into the power button.
