Honda Cars India has announced its product offensive strategy, which includes the launche of 10 new models by 2030. The lineup will feature 7 new SUVs aimed at competing with OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mahindra and Hyundai. The upcoming range will include a mix of global products and locally developed models, with multiple powertrains.
In 2026, the Japanese automaker is expected to launch two new models – the 2026 Honda City facelift and the Honda ZR-V. However, Honda has not yet made any official comment on their launch timelines.
New Honda City Facelift

Recent sighting of the new Honda City facelift suggest that its India launch could be soon. The updated model is expected to arrive in the second half of 2026. Spy images reveal that the sedan could get minimal cosmetic upgrades including revised taillamps, a tweaked rear bumper and newly-designed alloy wheels.
Interior details are not available at the moment. However, the 2026 Honda City facelift is expected to receive new seat upholstery and more features such as an updated touchscreen, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera.
Mechanically, the new Honda City is likely to remain unchanged. The sedan will continue to use the 119bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L petrol-hybrid powertrains.
Honda ZR-V

The Honda ZR-V will be imported to India as a CBU (completely built unit), and is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh – Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is likely to be offered with a 2.0L, four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, paired to an e-CVT gearbox. This setup delivers a maximum power of 180bhp and 240Nm of torque.
Similar to the global-spec version, the India-bound Honda ZR-V will feature a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, USB charging ports, dual zone climate control, a powered driver’s seat, a wireless charging pad, a fully digital display, multiple airbags, vehicle stability assist, a 360-degree multi-view camera, reverse camera, front and rear parking sensors, an ADAS suite and more.
