Honda Cars India is set to launch the City facelift and the ZR-V hybrid SUV on May 22, 2026, as reported by Autocar India. While the new Honda City facelift is likely to receive subtle design changes and feature upgrades, the Honda ZR-V will be brought in via the CBU (Completely Built Up) route and will serve as halo product for the brand.
Expected Prices & Competition
The Honda City currently is available priced between Rs 12 lakh – Rs 16.07 lakh, while the City hybrid is priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices of the facelifted version are expected to remain more or less similar to the pre-facelift version. It will continue to take on the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus.
On the other hand, the Honda ZR-V will be priced premium, ranging between Rs 40 lakh – Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go head-to-head against the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan. Official prices for both models will be announced next month.
New Honda City 2026 Facelift

Spy shots suggest that the 2026 Honda City facelift might come with slightly updated styling, featuring new alloy wheels, redesigned taillamps and a revised rear bumper. Inside, the sedan might get new upholstery and trims along with additional features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and an updated touchscreen infotainment system.
Mechanically, the new City is likely to continue with the same 119bhp, 1.5L NA petrol and 1.5L petrol-hybrid powertrains.
Honda ZR-V
Similar to the global-spec model, the India-bound Honda ZR-V is likely to feature a 2.0L, four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, producing power worth 180bhp and 240Nm of torque. Transmission duties are performed by an e-CVT gearbox. Dimensionally, the ZR-V measures 4,568mm in length, 1,840mm in width and 1,620mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,657mm.
As a premium SUV, the ZR-V offers features such as an ADAS suite, a fully digital driver’s display, a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree multi-view camera, front and rear parking sensors and more.
