The Honor 600 series was unveiled yesterday and made its way to Europe today with one major change. While units sold across Asia are equipped with a 7,000mAh Si-C battery, the European versions come with 6,400mAh cells.

And while the difference in battery capacities surely favors the international Honor 600 variant, Honor decided to undertake a rather unusual battery test against its key competitors. Instead of comparing running times across regular use-case scenarios, Honor’s engineers took out the Honor 600’s 7,000mAh Si-C battery and fitted it to power a miniature RC car.

They then did the same with the batteries from an eSIM-only iPhone 17 Pro (4,252mAh) and a Samsung Galaxy S26 (4,300mAh).

The three battery cells were then pitted against each other on the track to see which one would outlast the others. With a much larger capacity, Honor expectedly came out on top. The video (linked below) does feature several not-so-subtle jabs at Apple and Samsung, referring to the iPhone 17 Pro as “The First to Retire” while the Galaxy S26 is credited as “The Persistent Challenger”.
