Honor has quietly introduced a budget Play series device in China, called the Play 70C. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and packs a 5,300mAh battery. The company also unveiled the Play 80 Plus with a 7,500mAh battery and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC.
The Honor Play 70C comes with a 6.75-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

It gets a single 13MP rear camera that supports 1080p video recording and offers up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, the phone offers a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The device packs a 5,300mAh battery. The octa-core MediaTek chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

It runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out-of-the-box. As for connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM with 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Honor Play 70C is available in Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver color options.

It is currently on sale in China and starts at CNY 599 ($90) for the 4GB/64GB option. Meanwhile, the 4GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 699 ($105) and the 6GB/128GB model has a price tag of CNY 799 ($115).
