Huawei nova Y74 goes official with a 6,620mAh battery

Huawei appears to have silently unveiled the nova Y74 in global markets, roughly a year after launching the nova Y73. The budget 4G phone features a 6.67-inch display and a 6,620mAh battery, and appears to be a rebadged version of the Enjoy 90 Plus that debuted in China in March.

The Huawei nova Y74 features a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and up to 850 nits of peak brightness.

Huawei has not disclosed the chipset powering the device, but given its striking resemblance to the Enjoy 90 Plus, it is likely using a Kirin 800-series processor.

The smartphone packs a 6,620mAh battery with support for 40W wired fast charging. Huawei claims the battery can deliver up to 25 hours of online video playback on a single charge.

The phone runs EMUI 12 and includes Huawei’s X Button, which provides quick one-tap access to apps, shortcuts, and other functions.
